GREAT PLACES FOR GREAT PEOPLE

We love interacting with people from all the world over who choose our home for their special occasions and much earned time away from the routine life hustle. A new hot tub is waiting for you. We are always adding to the fun stuff for your children, with a pack and play, full futon couch and bean bags, ice cream maker, popcorn makers, fun art, books, puzzles, DVDs, and a new game console with a hundred+ games for their enjoyment. The house is very well furnished with two comfy leather couches and a loveseat which folds out to a bed in front of a wood burning fireplace. We have central heat and air if you are looking for easy climate controlled comfort with a turn of our Nest system. The master bedroom suite hosts it's own entrance, a king bed with new fresh cotton sheets, a full bath, and washer and dryer. On the main level, you will find another room with a king bed with fresh cotton sheets, and a "kids" room with one set of bunk beds, a single bed, and a fold out full futon. The house can sleep 10 but it is better suited for 8 or 9: with two in each king, one in each single/ bunk bed, one in the fold out, and one on the futon couch. The kitchen was recently remodeled; shiny and clean with stainless appliances and new sparkling quartz countertops. We try our best to keep it stocked with spices, cooking oil, coffee and filters, etc. And of course, all of the necessities such as pots and pans, kitchen appliances, plates, glasses, and utensils, etc. Eat inside on the kitchen/ dining room table, or outside on deck with an expandable table with seating for 8+, peaceful views and new umbrellas. Guests enjoy grilling on a large gas grill and spending time watching for the plentiful PML wildlife. Why is the area a hidden gem? Kids and adults alike love the unique feel of the PML community as you feel like you are in the mountains with nature, but the charming town of Groveland is less than five minutes away! Groveland is a historic little gold rush town with the oldest running saloon in California, The Iron Door. This is a family friendly, lively haunt with good food- breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a pool table, juke box, bands on weekends, Karaoke on Thursday nights, lots of locals with great stories, and all sorts of interesting décor. You can do some finer (but casual) dining at Charlotte's Tavern in the historic Hotel Charlotte, The Grill at Pine Mountain Lake (which also hosts bands and dancing on most Saturday nights) or try out one of the two pizza parlors in town. Two Guys Pizza Pies also delivers! We buy all of our groceries at the friendly and recently expanded, local MarVal market. Although many guests discover Groveland for it's proximity to the northwest entrance to Yosemite, many come back just to relax and play in downtown Groveland and Pine Mountain Lake. We love to travel with our dogs, and welcome your house trained pets as well. There are lots of trails and lakes to explore with your furry friends! Sorry, no dogs allowed on the PML beaches. It won't be hard for you to find other options, as the surrounding areas are filled with lakes and streams and lots of beautiful hiking. Dogs are allowed in some but not all areas in Yosemite, so make sure to prepare ahead of time if you plan to bring your furry companions.
